BK blue-flux coated brazing rods are a copper-phosphorus-tin-silicon alloy with a built-in flux coating. The alloy has a melting range of approximately 635-675°C, which is considered lower than many standard brazing alloys, and exhibits good flow characteristics. Being formulated without silver (Ag-free), it presents a cost-effective alternative to silver-phosphor-copper brazing filler metals for applicable jobs, positioning it as a practical option for brazing brass.
